Found this bin at a garage sale for $2.00. Great shape and with a price like that, couldn't pass it up.
This plant stand was only a $1.00. Really didn't like the gold, but I see potential.
I came across 2 boxes of these while cleaning.
I'm thinking, pin cushions?

Great garage sale and fantastic prices. The garage sales here think they are Chanel or something. They sell things from the Dollar tree for 3.00...well at least they try!
I wish I had your luck on finding bargains. I love the bin and that plant stand I would spray paint it black. Pincushions is a great idea and you could use one as a base to make a serving platter. Take Care :)
