Why?

I ask myself. Why? Why did I have that can of soda, when I had my bottle waters with me. Why? Why did I have a pizza with everything on it, instead of a salad. Why? Why do I do good all day, then eat more at night. And the things at night, aren't healthy. I do this all the time. Why? I start out eating healthy during the day. Then at night when I get home, its a free for all. Keep telling myself, the next day or I'll start over in the morning. I want to feel better about myself. I want to fit in my skinny clothes. Something I haven't been able to do in a long time. I just want to be able to stick to a plan and do it.

My decorations are going up and the colors are popping! I love this time of year. Tomorrow is a new day, and it's Friday!

Have a good one!

decor looks fab! as women we indulge in foods to make us feel good at times, i think.

it takes 21 days to keep a new habit going :)

Dear old friend I think we all ask ourselves that question. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. And I think we often let this very thing discourage us from continuing to try. I have found if I don't dwell on it I'm not eating as much or as many things that are really bad. I also found that if I don't try to cut out the things I really like I don't mind going without them for a few days. My biggest set back is chips. I love chips! So on days I really want them I have them but I have found that I am going 2, 3 sometimes 4 days now without them. That's a huge accomplishment for me! I'm not one to snack on celery stick, carrot sticks, or even apples that would really get to me if I had to do it. Or I would be defeating the purpose by eating a bottle of ranch dressing for that one celery stick. I started doing smaller portions at meals and exercising. We each have to find what works for us and it takes time. Keep trying!!! Don't get discouraged! Take Care :)
