Weekend Finds!
Since it wasnt sunny for the most part on Saturday, decided to go hit some sales.
Happy I did.
The bucket was $2.00 and the table $5.00.
Love the table, perfect. No rust, great shape.
These 2 chairs were at another sale, which need some elbow grease. There is going to be some stripping on these. Many layers of paint. They are in great shape, solid.
ding..ding...
$10.00 for the pair.
They will go great with the table above.
I love kitchen things. So this was a find for me.
She wanted $10.00 for the box. After talking to her for an hour. She gave them to me for
$5.00!
Lately, I have something for windows. So I needed this purchase. Thinking maybe $20 dollars.
ding....ding...
$3.00.
Not a bad weekend for treasure hunting. Now the fun part begins. What to do with it all.
Hope your week starts out well!

Cranberry!
Finally went back to the color I love the most. I know my kitchen is small, but it works. I didn't want to put a big hutch or shelves back up on the wall. So dh made me something to display the things I love. They are actually cranberry boxes. Found them at the market for $7.00 each. Didn't do anything to them, just stacked them up, secured them to the wall. I love it. Found the window at the market, that was an old and inexpensive find. Figured, let me just put it here for now. And my utensil holder, got it at a horse auction for $2. This is the first time, I'm really liking the way my kitchen is turning out. One wall at a time.

Steak Quesadilla
Now that hockey started back up. It is full swing snack time. Needed to come up with some different things. First new one for this season. Steak Quesadilla. Yum!
I used left over roast beef. Just cooked it more with some of its own juices. Wear it becomes tender. I fried up some onions and shredded some cheese.
Threw the tortilla in the pan. Added steak, cooked onions and sprinkled with cheese. Heated where the cheese is just melting. Cover with the other tortilla. Heat, flip until a bit crispy. Cut into triangles, serve with sour cream and salsa.
Delicious!
We've been having some low temps. Some snow at night and more snow expected by the weekend. Feels like winter now. Hope everyone is safe and warm.
Enjoy the rest of the week!
