Past Weekend.....

Finally got some snow this pass weekend.  It was nice waking up to it on Sunday morning.
So quiet and peaceful. Nobody on the road.  I live on a county road, so its one of the
first to be salted and plowed.  As I was driving, the sun started to come out.
When it started peeking through the trees.  It looked so pretty.
Should of taken some more pictures.  But the battery died
after I took this one.
I was just happy to be out and seen how nice it looked.

This weekend I signed myself up for a stained glass class.  I will be learning how to do everything
there is to do with glass. The place has a few classes to offer.  Starting at the beginning and
working my way up.  Kind of excited to try it.  I love stained glass, especially in the windows.  The prices
for some things I like are so high.  So figured, why not give it a try.

Tried a new recipe this weekend!
There were so good.

 CROCK POT STUFFED PEPPERS

4 large cleaned peppers
1 lb chop meat
1  Cup of uncooked rice
1 small can of diced tomatoes, drained
2 cloves, chopped
Sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Put the chop meat, rice, tomatoes, salt, pepper
and garlic in a bowl and mix well.

Add some sauce to moisten if you have to.
Stuff the peppers, place in crock.
Pour sauce all over.
Cook on high, 1 hours.
Then turn to low and cook for
5 hours.

They were so good!

To end my weekend. My girlfriend and I went to BINGO!
I love bingo.
Before the kids, a bunch of us would go.  We had such a blast.
Everyone still brings their lucky charms and cow bell for certain numbers.
The thing I don't get, why does one person need so many bingo markers in one night??

Have a good week, we are expecting some nice weather...
Spring is in the air.  Cant wait!

I love stuff peppers. I don't have a crock pot, and I get major kitchen gadget envy when I see recipes like this. Maybe I'll try to make it work in my oven. Haha.

What a lovely photo of some snow. I am glad you were able to get at least one photo of it. :) My hubby didn't like our recent snow as it reminded him of my home state MN ha ha.

Stay safe and warm.

I love your snow picture! We eat frequent corck-pot meals in the winter here too. It's so nice to come home to supper already finished. You have lots of good ideas on your blog, I'm glad to get a chance to see it. : ) this is homekeepingheather from Swap-bot for the blogging into 2013 swap.

I really liked the wintery photo and your thoughts on it.
This week the temperatures have gone down to 32°C in the region where I live in France... we even had snow for about 3 hours. I managed to take some pictures before it melted. :-)
