Some goodies to get me started with my Valentine's swap. Would like to finish up with it by the end of the week. This will be a first in the "heart" department in swaps for me. Hoping my partners will like what I send. I know I'm making two of everything. Just because I usually make one and always say, should of made one for myself. Not taking any chances this time around. Making one for myself.

Think I found myself a keeper recipe for bread pudding. Been looking for awhile and trying different ones. Thinking this might be the one. Once it was cooled, didn't last long at all. Was gone in no time.
Bread Pudding
6 slices of day old bread
2 tbl butter melted
21/2 cup raisins
2 cups milk
4 eggs beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Break bread into small pieces and put into a 8" greased pan. Mix in raisins. Drizzle melted butter over bread. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Whisk well. Pour over bread. Slightly push down the bread with a fork. Making sure all the bread is covered an soaking in the egg mixture. Bake in the oven for approx 45 mins or until tip springs back when lightly touched.
Enjoy!
Susan
