Dinner to go....

Today I made some Sweet N Sour Ribs in the crock. It is a great pot luck meal to bring to a function. Makes a good batch. Dh loves to pack it for lunch. Along with a side salad, cant go wrong.

SWEET N SOUR RIBS

3-4 lbs boneless country style ribs
1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, undrained
2 cans (8oz) tomato sauce
1/2 cup onion, sliced
1/2 cup green pepper, sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, mince
dash salt and pepper

Place ribs in a greased crock pot. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour over the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over rice or noodles.
Enjoy!

Thanks for posting such a great recipe! I will be trying this the next time I buy country style ribs. Hmmm...they should be going on sale before long it's been awhile.

I can't believe those kids were up at the crack of dawn. From my experience with sleepovers they stay up all night then sleep atleast til noon.
